Portrait of Rikk Agnew by Edward Colver

Rikk Agnew is one of the famed rock guitarists of our century. A singer, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and record producer, Rikk’s music career spans more than 30 years and is still active. As a founding member of major influential bands from Southern California such as the Adolescents, Social Distortion and the death rock band Christian Death, Rikk commands respect as a prolific figure in punk rock history. His famous melodic chord arrangement is lovingly called "The Agnew" by Fat Mike (NOFX) and is recognizable in so many punk tracks. His experimental paintings, collage and diorama sculptures are creations of playful joy in multi-format expressions, transcending aural experiences into a visual form.
